Solar Hot Water Tank
Triton Hot Water System Do you need pressure with the water source?
I am looking at buying a triton hot water system for our cabin. We have no running water. We bring up jugs of water and use a solar shower. My thought is I would like to be able to place the water source hose end in the water tank. Do I need a pump for this Item to work. Any ideas would be great thanks
I’m not real familiar with the Triton brand hot water system, but every other system that I’ve ever seen requires a pump pushing water into the tank or heater part of the system. That’s cold water going in, and that pressure, whether it’s a tank or an instant system, is what pushes the hot water out. So, I’m thinking you’re going to need more than just a pump, you’re going to have to drill or drive, a well.
